Project Guidelines

Both parties involved in a project (the Outsourcer and the GhostWriter) are asked to follow these guidelines to assure the successful completion of a project, without any problems. If you don't, you do so at your own risk, and will have a harder time convincing us to decide in your favor during any dispute with the other party.

Know The Project
You should know how you will create the materials before you place your bid. If you need more details, post on the message board for that project and request more information from the Customer. Make sure you are clear about the project before you begin working on it.

Updates
You might consider updating the Customer on your progress throughout your work. This is important especially if it's a long project. This will assure that there is no confusion over what is expected to be delivered at project completion.

Provide Demo
Before sending the final materials to the Customer, you should provide a sample so that they can confirm it is what they wanted done. This is a good practice to keep both parties informed and working together "on the same page" - towards the same vision and goals.

Payment Method
Before the work begins, you should discuss with the Customer how you want them to send your payment. In some cases you will find that you feel more secure by using an escrow service such as escrow.com which we recommend for most situations.

And don't rate the other party before the project is completed, you might change your mind, and the rating cannot be changed.
