Description: This story begins in 1999 and is pretty much still going. I have a story to tell, and I think there would be interest. If I told this story using real names/dates/places, the damage would be untold. However, told anonomously I think is ok. Briefly (very briefly!) There is me, involved in a sub-culture of sorts, an alternative lifestyle. BDSM. D/S. S/M. Becoming close friends with some of the main players in this scene. There's all the aspects of this lifestyle.. the drugs, the sex, the parties etc. The parties are extreme. This was my life (my secret life) ... I met someone in the context of this lifestyle. This person is a very senior ranking individual in the police. TThis person that i became involved in has no respect for boundaries or the word "no". this person I believe is a true misogynist. He has no empathy, no sympathy and worst of all no conscience. A dangerous combination. things were done to me, and to do others that are criminal. the details are extremely graphic. the consequences far reaching. I'm looking for someone who might be prepared to work with me on this, it won't be easy and i will need absolute confidentiality. I have no idea if this is even possible, or maybe i'm in the wrong place, if so, thanks for your time in reading this anyway.

This will be tricky for you, picking the right ghost. It's more than just not getting squeamish about the details or shedding light on something terrible. It's about something liberating and wonderful that went wrong, about unraveling complex feelings with deep, riveting honesty. You’re letting readers in on a dirty little secret that was neither little nor dirty and probably felt more natural at times than your day to day life. They need to experience the high that comes with the loss of control, and then be terrified with the realization that that same loss of control can destroy them in the hands of the wrong person. If your story reads like a cautionary tale, it’s ruined. I wish you luck in however you ultimately choose to express what’s inside you. I think its inside more of us than we would admit in polite company. Fee: I charge 10 cents a word, but will negotiate within your budget. I like what your story could be. Hope to hear from you.

Telling people's stories is what I do. I believe truth is stranger than fiction. This story sounds especially fascinating. I think "more than 100 words" is an understatement for this kind of story. How about $100 for the first 2,000 words then $10 per 1,000 words after that. We can discuss prorating it if it ends a quarter, half-way or three-quarters of a way toward the next 1,000 words.

Attention to detail, fact-checking, outline, chronology, are important for a memoir, or a fictionalized memoir, I think. 60 days is a reasonable amount of time. I don't mind graphic. I'm a published poet, and a playwright. Poets are intrigued with sex and violence.

No offense, but anyone who claims they will provide a PUBLISHABLE manuscript in 30 days for $1000 or less is either a fool or a charlatan. I ghost for a living, specializing in memoirs, and the least I've ever charged for such a project is $12,500, and that was CHEAP. Think of the time required just to properly interview the subject. I usually spend the first month in that alone. After all, the whole point of hiring a ghostwriter is to find someone who can effectively tell your story in YOUR voice. I bid my minimums, but realistically I can only give a rough estimate without more information. Basically, it would take 3-5 months and my fee would be between $12,500 and $20,000, depending on your story. Good luck with it.
