Description: I have a final bachelor's thesis paper due by August 3, 2009. It has to be between 25 and 35 pages in length. The topic I am writing on is racial profiling. Because this is a bachelor's in criminal justice, the research must be able to incorporate at least 3 of the 6 core compentencies, which are: corrections, security, law enforcement, criminolgy, criminal justice/juvenile justice system, and adjudication/court system. I just started the class and I haven't done much research yet. The reserach question I am focusing on is: What is the imact of racial profiling and what is being done to combat it? I live in Las Vegas, NV and I want to look at the four law enforcement agencies in the surrounding area for their collection of racial profile information for traffic stops or stops for other offenses. I can try to get any local info that is needed.
