Hello, the first writer is correct about registering your work, however, it sounds like you're only in the idea stage and no material to register or copyright yet. I'd be happy to help you turn your idea into a full-length script. I've been a professional writer for over 20 years and have authored 2 books (one of which I subsequently wrote a screenplay based upon). Three of my screenplays were optioned by the same production company. I would commit myself to writing at least 5 pages per day, which means your project could be completed within 30 days. I'm a rookie at screen play writing, but a pro at writing and have experience on stage. I'm a journalist so my primary job is to write what people say (quotes). I've also been on the stage in school and community theater presentations since high school so I'm very familiar with screen play writing and script directions. Basically I'm charging $2 a page and a pace of a page every two days. That means I'm getting about $1 a day in the end. The long time frame is because I'm sure you want the dialog exactly right. Timing and clear communication are keys in comedy.

I started as an actor at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. While there I wrote three plays and each was chosen in successive years for workshopping in the National Playwrights Conference. All plays are produced. I've written 42 screenplays, 6 produced. I was the writer-in-residence/script doctor at Warner Bros and can supply references from the (then) world head of Warner Bros. Comedy movies are my forte. $1000 will give you a marketable script in a fortnight, and I'll do 2 revisions for free. CJ
