I can't give actual detail on our project as we already have a very solid online presence and don't want to hurt our prospects by giving out our plans for the future publicly. So obviously those that are interested will get all the details. But a little back story to explain the gig. We are an extremely unique Comedy Troupe who has put in several years "pre-release" and now about 2 years "post-release" in getting our project as much "internet buzz" as possible. We are doing this to prove our marketability before going to industry execs for a possible sale. We have tons of written material for back story & character descriptions, loads of story ideas etc. We also have over an hour online of [G] rated material - [G] rated so as to not exclude any one given network. We have comic book deals, clothes endorsements and much more. And of course we are completely 100% copyrighted (all characters, formula & project overview) - all under a protective LLC. What we are currently working on is completing a package for a Beverly Hills law firm to use to pitch our project to the big networks. As part of this package we also have an entire [MA] reel completed. Literally all that is left now is to complete our written [MA] rated Pilot. The gig is simple. We are looking for a Pro comedy writer to help polish this [MA] script. It is already written but is lacking that "pro" feel. It needs a few jokes, a little story forumla polish and some clean-up etc. We are not pro writers - we just have an insane amount of ideas for our project. However we have done years of research and know what works and what doesn't as we now have lots of Hollywood contacts telling us what to continue on and what to change. It is only around 4-5 pages of Final Draft script format text - not book form text - so there is alot more thinking than writing in this task. Keep in mind that we've never done this before (the ghost writing thing) so we apologize in advance regarding our "newness" on the subject. Bare in mind that this script will 100% be seen by big industry execs so you can see why we want to get this right the 1st time. Thanks in advance for any and all interest. |
